“The human animal bond is an amazing thing. We consider our pets as part of our families and for this reason my passion lies in contributing to this bond by providing excellent medical care when needed and providing new and seasoned pet owners with the knowledge they need to be successful at home.”
Dr. Todd Bridges brings an easy-going charm, detail-oriented nature, and a deep respect for animal-human relationships to our clients and four-legged patients. He has been a part of the Falls Village Veterinary Hospital family since 2003, when he first joined us as a veterinary assistant while he was enrolled as an undergrad at NCSU. He then earned his veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Bridges completed his clinical year at NC College of Veterinary Medicine, and joined our team as a veterinarian in 2016.
Dr. Bridges has always been a great, easy fit into our work family for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is that he strives to be helpful because he genuinely cares, and it shows. He likes to share good explanations to enable our clients with knowledge that they can take home with them. Our clients frequently remark on how patient and thorough he is, both qualities that help him excel in his belief that even as a general practitioner, digging deep and learning more is how he can best serve pets and their families.
“I feel it is our responsibility and obligation to our clients and patients to continually fine tune our education and stay current with new developments in procedures, therapies and treatments for the wide variety of concerns we are presented with.”
Before becoming a vet, Dr. Bridges was an amazing finish carpenter! He enjoys working with his hands and loves camping and hiking with his family. He participates in the YMCA Y-Guides, a father-daughter group that focuses on spending time with each other and among friends, partaking in outdoor activities and reinforcing concepts like community and environmental awareness.
