Our Customer Service Representatives are the face of Falls Village Veterinary Hospital. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparing and maintaining medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, financial transactions, and front office and reception area maintenance. We ask that any potential candidate understand common vaccination protocols, parasiticides, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology and pet behavior.
Our Veterinary Assistants provide high-quality care alongside our doctors. Duties include but are not limited to: assisting doctors in rooms, running in house blood work, computer entry of medical records, and obtaining and processing samples, taking radiographs, assisting in surgery and anesthesia monitoring, assisting with dental procedures(including polishing and scaling of teeth) and dental radiographs, monitoring hospitalized patients and performing treatments.
Our Kennel Technicians are responsible for maintaining and overseeing our kennel. They are responsible for taking care of our boarding patients from feeding, medicating, monitoring playtime, ensuring the kennel is clean, to recording and communicating any changes in a pet’s behavior or physical appearance to the doctors. It is extremely important to have a keen eye as a kennel technician. You will also be responsible for bathing patients, nail trims and basic grooming of pets.
